I was blessed to have been lead in the direction of securing Dr. Charles Toman as my Orthopedic Surgeon. All of the healthcare people that I came in contact with during the surgery and recovery told me how lucky I was to have Dr. Toman as my surgeon. I would like to thank Dr. Toman for the superior job he did in repairing the massive totator cuff tears on my shoulder. (He called it a train wreck). I was only in pain for 3 days after surgery and have experienced no pain since. I have been very dedicated to my physical therapy, which has paid off. My goal is to kayak and fly fish again and I feel that I will reach that goal. He recommended that we remain in Florida for physical therapy with his team of Lawrence and his wife. These therapists are trained to administer therapy as Dr. Toman prescribes and he is able to monitor this. Lawrence and his wife were also excellent therapists. I was happy that I stayed in Florida to obtain the services of his recommended PT team before traveling back to NH. Dr. Toman was extremely compassionate and kind. We actually felt like family when we visited his office. He always took as much time as we needed to answer our questions in depth and provided us with all of the information necessary. Everything was explained thoroughly. Imagine an Orthopedic Surgeon with all of these qualities!!That is Dr. Charles Toman!! I would highly recommend him for any Orthopedic Surgery!
