Carrie D. Culpepper, ARNP, RNFA
Carrie Culpepper, AGACNP-BC, RNFA, studied at the University of Georgia and Middle Georgia State University (MGSU) as an undergraduate. She graduated from MGSU with an Associate Degree of Science in Business and in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing where she was a Cum Laude Honor Graduate. She then worked as an Intensive Care Unit nurse for seven years at several Level 1 Trauma centers before continuing her education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). At UAB, she completed a dual Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse First Assist program where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018 with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Carrie has experience in varying fields of medicine including critical care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, neurology, and orthopedic surgery. Carrie assists Dr. Toman in surgeries and procedures and sees patients in the office as well as the hospital. She retains privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, West Boca Medical Center, and Broward Health North. She is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Peri-Operative Registered Nurses.
As a former intensive care nurse and pre-operative nurse, Carrie brings a unique perspective to office care. She takes the time to listen to her patients and provide the best individualized treatment to achieve the most effective and desired result. She has a passion for overseas mission work, as well as local community outreach.
