I had artheroscopic surgery for a shoulder fracture and torn rotator cuff four weeks ago. After one day I no longer needed pain medication. Now I am receiving outpatient therapy. Dr Toman is a very caring person who immediately makes one feel very much at ease while talking with him. There is absolutely no sign at all of any arrogance that one sometimes finds among physicians and/or other professionals. As far as I am concerned, he did a terrific job and I look forward to seeing him again in 8 weeks after I receive further therapy. I highly recommend Dr Toman to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

I have been in pain for 7 years in my right shoulder. So who dose a person pick in selecting a surgeon? Dr. Toman’s name came up in conversations that I have had with some of my friends where I live and acquaintance’s that I have talked to.They highly praised Dr. Toman and some were patients of his.You know they were right,It has been 20 weeks since my surgery with a serious injury to my shoulder. I had pain in my left hip since early this year. Cortisone shots and pain medication were very temporary. Dr. toman suggested hip arthroscopy,I never heard of it. Since having the procedure done on April 26,2012, I have about a 90% improvement. The pain was minimal and well worth the temporary discomfort. When all else fails see Dr. Toman, I know I will.

After recovering completely from a total right hip replacement in October, 2011, I had a total left knee replacement in May, 2012. Both operations were performed by Dr. Charles Toman, and I am so thankful for his skill and caring attitude. As he indicated it would, the knee was a bit more painful and difficult to rehab than the hip, but now I am six weeks out and walking very well without a walker or cane. Thank you to Dr. Toman and all who helped!

I want to say “Thank you Dr. Toman”. When I came to your office, I was having severe left hip pain. After looking at the MRI, you gave me two choices, either have a shot in the hip or a hip replacement. I chose the shot, as I did not want to have surgery. The shot did not work, then Jackie set a surgery date for Valentines Day, 2012. During surgery Dr. Toman found a deformity in the hip joint, but with his expertise in reconstruction surgery I am walking again. I left the hospital with a walker and I could only use my left toes for balance for a month. Now, with the help of rehab and Paul, I am walking one half a mile both morning and night with no limp. Dr. Toman is not only a very skilled orthopedic physician, but one who cares about his patient. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. Dr Toman will talk to you and your family about your problem. After surgery he will explain to your family any problems that he found. Thank you again, Dr. Toman and your friendly office staff.
